Best Dinner with a View 2002

Best Dinner with a View 2002

When the Palms Hotel decided to open a restaurant on the 56th floor, they knew they had to do it right. See, a lot of restaurants that push their view don't push their food, know what I mean? But Alizé is as right as cuisine can get. Chef André Rochat knows his Mediterranean cookbook, all right: rack of lamb, duck breast with berry sauce, baklava. The service here is top notch. And the view -- get outta here. It puts the entire Strip in the palms of your hands.

There's lots of candlelight and romantic oohs and ahhs to be had before and after dinner. The bar stocks its share of rare cognac and grappa to top off a perfect evening.
