(A little known fact: The original Erte´ series was a commission of the famous Russian-born artist for 7 bottles; Courvoisier released 12,000 of those. Then, the cognac company released a special 8th bottle in 1994 in limited distribution of just 4,000 bottles. This 8th bottle was intended to be their first release back in 1988, but it wasn’t approved for distribution in the U.S. at that time because of the image of an Art Deco naked woman on the front. It’s estimated that just a few hundred collectors in the world own the entire 8-bottle Erte set.)

Other rare collections within Andre’s collection are the series of Vintage cognacs from the Jacques Hardy Private Reserves. As mentioned earlier, we have a single bottle of the 1777 vintage available for $35,000. We also pour vintages by the shot, from 1802 through 1914. (In fact, Andre’s cognac collection contains the largest selection of Hardy Cognacs outside the family’s collection.) Additionally, vintage ports begin with the 1966 Sandeman and the oldest Madeira on hand.
